The Sax Bench Prop allows you to lay the horn on your bench top without fear of bending palm keys or left hand table keys.
The beauty is in the receiver spring design that holds the prop in place while flipping the horn over or otherwise moving it around. Instead of moving a sand bag around (or rolled up towel in my case), the prop stays put and allows for more seamless repair procedures. 
The low profile design also allows for easy access to all rods and pivots during disassembly, for example. The heavy duty plastic is strong enough to support the instrument without any chance for damage inside the receiver. 
And of course, they feature a through hole to work with most LED and even fluorescent leak lights: .735” alto, .750” tenor. 
After a few weeks of use, it’s hard to imagine repairing without one!
