This resonator is designed to work with the Ferrees D28 Pad Rivet Punch (not included).
 
The concave anvil fits the curve of seemless domed resonators well, so not flat spot is left behind after splitting the rivet. The frame helps hold the punch perpendicular to the pad and reso, while the sliding punch guide helps hold cardboard down during splitting (especially useful when using backing washers).
 
Also available is the "Anvil Only" which fits into the base of the Music Medic bench press.
